How do I get started?
Create an account, add your store and staff, then plan the week in one view. Check coverage before you publish, and copy a previous week when you want a head start.
Can I track hours and labour cost?
Yes. The roster surfaces rostered hours, consecutive days and estimated weekly labour cost so you can spot overload and coverage gaps before you publish.
Can I export or share the roster?
Yes. Publish the roster for your staff, and export a clean weekly PDF when you need a copy outside the app.
Is each store separate?
Yes. Your store and its staff, shifts and assignments stay scoped to your account. EmerRoster is designed for many stores, each with their own roster.
What happens after the 30-day Starter trial?
New stores get 30 days of Starter features with no card. After that, 8 roster weeks remain, including drafts, without new staff logins until you upgrade to Starter (€16.99/month, EUR) or Pro (€47.99/month, EUR).
What is the difference between Starter and Pro?
Starter (€16.99/month, EUR) is for running the live weekly roster: unlimited weeks, team member access, shift swaps and PDF export. Pro (€47.99/month, EUR) adds Irish working-time alerts and priority email support. Email notifications and payroll export are not included yet.
Do working-time alerts replace employment law?
No. Working-time alerts support planning. They do not replace an employer's responsibility to apply employment law to each situation.
Do I need a payment card to start?
No. You can start a 30-day Starter trial without a payment card. A card is only needed if you upgrade to Starter or Pro. Paid plans are priced in EUR and billed monthly.
